Terms of Service
Effective October 28, 2026
1. Who can use the site
You must be 18 or older and in the United States. You can upload a photo of a child only if you're the child's parent or legal guardian, or you have their permission. Please upload photos of one child at a time, and only photos you have the right to use.
2. Your photo
You give us permission to use the photo you upload only to make your book (including the preview), as described in our Privacy Policy. You keep all rights to your photo. It's deleted once the book is finished, or after 7 days if you don't order.
3. How the books are made
The pictures in each book are drawn with the help of artificial intelligence, from your photo and our designs. Because every book is drawn fresh, likeness and details vary from book to book - that's why you see a free preview (the cover and the first pages) before you buy, and the whole book before it's finished. You may ask for a limited number of revisions for each book (currently 10). Pages you didn't preview are drawn after you order and checked before delivery. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a photo breaks these terms or a book can't be made well.
4. Prices, payment and taxes
Prices are shown before you order. Sales tax is added where required. Printed books also pay the printing partner's shipping cost, shown at checkout. When you order, your card is saved securely with our payment processor, Stripe - you are not charged then. We charge it only when you approve your finished book, and then we email you the PDF or send your book to the printer. If you don't approve it within 7 days of our showing it to you, the order is canceled and you are not charged; we email you reminders before then. If the charge doesn't go through, we email you a payment link and keep your book until it's paid.
5. Printed books and shipping
Printed books are printed and shipped by our printing partner, usually within about a week; delivery dates are estimates. Please check your shipping address - we can't be responsible for books sent to an address you gave us that's wrong. Colors, paper and trimming can vary slightly from what you see on screen.
6. Cancelling, and refunds for personalized books
Before you approve: you can cancel your order while you're looking over your finished book (the proof), and you're never charged. Your saved card is removed and your photo is deleted. If you don't approve the proof within 7 days, we cancel the order the same way.
After you approve: each book is made just for your child, and you've seen every page before paying, so we can't take returns or give refunds for a change of mind.
If something is wrong - a broken or incomplete file, or a printed book that arrives damaged, misprinted, or doesn't arrive - tell us within 30 days (with a photo for a printed book) and we'll fix it, send a new copy, or refund you.
A printed book goes to the printer as soon as you approve it, so it can't be canceled after that.
This doesn't limit any rights you have under the law.
7. What you can do with your book
Your book is for personal, family use: print the PDF as many times as you like for your household, give copies to family, and color away. Please don't sell or publish it. The designs, page ideas, layouts and the Curated Community Crafts name belong to us.
8. Fair use of the site
Please don't upload photos you don't have permission to use, anything unlawful or hurtful, or try to misuse, overload or copy the site. We may block uploads or accounts that do.
9. Safety
Books are paper products. Coloring supplies aren't included. Young children should color with an adult nearby.
10. Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms promise, the site and the books are provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for anything related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
12. Your responsibility
If you upload a photo you didn't have the right to use, or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and claims that result, to the extent the law allows.
13. Disagreements
If something goes wrong, email us first - most problems are fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute that can't be settled informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina, unless it qualifies for small claims court where you live.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version that applies is the one shown when you order. Questions: [contact email] - Vickery Machine Logic, LLC, Greenville, SC.
